About PaperTight

A story about files, and the chase they create.

If you run projects with subcontractors, you already know the shape of the day. It isn't the work — it's the paperwork about the work.

Timesheets, invoices, gate passes and onboarding forms arrive as email attachments and WhatsApp forwards, from a dozen companies, on no particular schedule. Before you've done anything useful, you've spent an hour just finding what people sent you.

So the files pile up. One is named FINAL, another FINAL_v7, and nobody is quite sure which one the client actually saw.

Approvals live in inboxes, where they quietly get lost. A spreadsheet becomes the tracker of who sent what — and by Friday the tracker is already a small, hopeful work of fiction.

You could blame the files. Plenty of software has tried to — replace the spreadsheet, replace the PDF, move everyone into a shiny new form.

But Excel and PDF are the contract language of contracting. Your clients want them, your auditors expect them, your subcontractors already work in them. The answer was never to replace those files. It was to get them under control.

So we built PaperTight — a thin layer of control that sits over the files you already use.

A package gathers the document slots for one company and one period. Everything submitted lands in a single approval queue. Version history keeps every revision, so nothing is ever overwritten, and a client portal lets each company see only their own documents.

Your files stay the source of truth. The chasing is what disappears.

🗄️Company Vault

Today, teams run their monthly billing packs, gate passes and onboarding through PaperTight — the same recurring document sets that used to live in a dozen inboxes.

Auto-Gen creates each company's package on the 1st, the readiness bar shows exactly what's still outstanding, and the Company Vault holds the permanent documents that don't belong to any single month.

“Nobody remembers the paperwork you got right. They remember the one you couldn't find.”
Layla Haddad, co-founder, PaperTight

Say hello

Come see it on your own documents.

We're a small team that cares a lot about a fairly unglamorous problem: the recurring paperwork that keeps contracting projects moving. If that's your world too, we'd genuinely like to hear how you work today.

The best way to get a feel for PaperTight is to walk through your own workflow with us. Request a demo and we'll set it up around the document sets you actually manage.
